Frequently asked questions

What is fractional property investment?+

Instead of buying a whole property, you buy shares of one. Each property is split into a fixed number of shares, and you own a proportional share of its value, rental income and appreciation.

How much do I need to start?+

You can buy shares from $50. The price per share depends on the property's value and how many shares it has.

How do I earn money?+

Two ways. While a property is rented you receive a share of the net rent each quarter. When the property sells at the exit date you receive your original investment back plus your share of the appreciation.

What are the fees?+

Aqariya charges a percentage of net rent (rental profit) and a percentage of the appreciation at exit. The exact rates are shown on each property and in your portfolio.

How long do I hold my shares?+

Each property has a holding period, typically 3 to 5 years. You hold your shares until the property exits, unless you arrange to transfer them.

Can I sell my shares to other investors?+

No. Aqariya is focused on long-term appreciation, not a trading market. You hold your shares until the property exits.

How do withdrawals work?+

Rental profit and exit payouts are credited to your Aqariya wallet. You can request a withdrawal, and the admin team processes it manually.

What happens if a property doesn't sell on the exit date?+

The admin team can override the exit date or valuation. Your shares remain yours and you keep receiving rental profit while the property stays rented.

How is my money protected?+

Property data and ownership records are held on the platform's backend with row-level security. Only you can see your own holdings and wallet.
